5 MUST Have Jackets and Coats: Winter and Fall

Jackets and coats are essential outfits during winter and fall. The most important factor to consider when choosing a jacket and a coat is your style, preferred trends and the type of weather you will be wearing it in. 

When you live in a city that is top on style and trends, you have to level your fashion game. Some of the Jackets and Coats that are trending and in style this year include; Coach Jackets, Bomber Jackets, Trench Coats, Moto Jackets and Over-sized Denim jackets.

Trench Coats 

One of the best ways to keep warm during fall and winter is to rock a trench coat. 

Currently I have seen various trends of trench coats such as the funnel trench coat, buggy-oversized trench coats, the classic trench coats and leather trench coats. 

With the right styling you will never go wrong and be assured of staying warm all season long.

Coach Jackets are made with nylon material and are very light weight. Some are lined with cotton to give that extra warmth.

I personally like the casual aspects of coach Jackets. They can go from day wear to night wear.

Bomber jackets are back on trend and there is no excuse why you should not add these warm, military looking jackets in your closet.

The cuffed sleeves and gathered waist on bomber jackets are so stylish. Make sure you pick the right size with a comfortable elasticated band on the cuffs.

I consider these jackets  a blend of casual and streetwear. They can be styled well with a pair of sneakers, boots, shorts and jeans. Experiment with your personality and taste to come up with the perfect style.

Moto Jackets

Moto jackets are currently popular styles of outerwear for both men and women. They are made of leather or suede, and are often lined with fur or fleece for added warmth. They come with a flared collar and a diagonal zipper on the side. Some are also belted at the waist.

Moto jackets are extremely versatile. For a casual look you can pair your motor jacket with biker shorts, jeans, graphic tees or a dress.

Oversized Denim jackets are light weight to keep you warm during fall and you can never go wrong with them. They come in various colors, sizes, washes and cuts. However, currently I have seen many trends on light-washed blue denim jackets.
